Abstract
Water. Where is the market going, and what opportunities lie in this most important industry that intimately touches our livesï¾—from the tap water we use in our homes to the irrigation of food crops all the way up to high-purity water that plays an important role in the operation of industrial plants worldwide. This will be the first of a series of articles that will examine the water business. We will first examine the industry as to its segments, and take an initial look at different market estimates. In subsequent issues we will further define different segments and examine who are some of the major players.
